K-Star Road in Apgujeong

Have you heard of the K-Star Road? It's the street on Apqujeong Rodeo Street.

You can find it by coming out of Apgujeong rodeo station gate 2.

(Yellow Suin-Bundang line in subway).

 Use Exit 2. As soon as you come up, you’re basically on K-Star Road (Cheongdam-dong, in front of Galleria Luxury Hall W/E direction). Walk straight 2–5 minutes and you’ll start seeing the signature GangnamDol bear statues with K-pop group logos.
A big doll welcomes you at beginning this road! Many tourists take picture with it.😉

You can use the subway or tourist bus. Or not, you can search for Galleria department store east building.  

The beginning of this road is as below.

 

 Oversized bear-style statues decorated with logos/colors of groups like BTS, EXO, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, Super Junior, etc. They’re spread along the sidewalk between Apgujeong Rodeo Station and Galleria Department Store.You can take a picture with your Star's doll. My sister like to EXO.

But my pick is a BTS doll.💓

If you want to take a break while walking the road, visit the KIA 360 cafe. 🍰

Across the street is BACHA coffee. It would be a good souvenir. 🎉

This street is near the Han-river. You can take a walk along the liver. Come on, Let's go!

• Timing: Weekends get busy; mornings or weekday evenings are best for photos. After rain, the pavements reflect lights nicely for night shots.
• Etiquette: Don’t climb the statues; security and locals are strict about this. Keep bikes/scooters out of the photo zone.
• Weather: Most of it is outdoors—bring sunscreen in summer and a warm layer in winter. You can always duck into Galleria or cafés to warm up.
