Cozy Port city: Mokpo

 Hi Friends! 😎

 Today, I'm hoping to introduce cozy port city in Korea, Mokpo.

Most of tourists have well-known Seoul, Busan and Kyeongju when visiting Korea.

But Mokpo is one of Korean hidden place with sea. 

 Mokpo is located in southwest port of South Korea. So that city called 'Port city'

 Mokpo Tourism Special Zone spans a 6.9km stretch from the North Port to Yudalsan Mountain, old downtown area, Samhakdo Island, Gatbawi Rock, and the Peace Plaza in the new city center. It features historical sites from the Japanese colonial era, such as the Former Japanese Consulate and Mokpo History and Culture of Modern Times. Visitors can explore attractions like the Mokpo Natural History Museum and the Korea National Maritime Museum. Being a coastal city, Mokpo offers a variety of seafood dishes including sliced raw croaker, braised cutlassfish, skate, pork, and kimchi combo, raw thin-legged octopus, and blue crab salad.

Day-time city tour course is as below.

You can find easily that bus in front of Mokpo train station every 09:30 am (except Mon).

In addition, tour price is only 5,000 KRW(about 4 $) for each adult!👄

I enjoyed night tour course from 19:30 pm. It was little bit different from day time.

All tours were accompanied by experts and provided explanations, but they were conducted in Korean. English explanations are also available.

It is a Gatbawi Ocean Bridge at night tour. 

Colorful lights create a mysterious atmosphere. So it is dating spot. 

Seoul, Busan and Kyeongju, of course great cities, but how about visiting this lovely port city?😘
