Hi Friends! 👋
Yesterday was my sibling’s birthday, so after dinner we visited a pretty café. It’s called Café MOONI in Apgujeong Rodeo—a gorgeous spot that takes up an entire building—so I wanted to share it with you. 💓
At the café entrance, there’s a big ribbon—the signature of MOONI—and a beautifully decorated tree, so you can still feel that Christmas vibe. Right by the main door, there’s a sign saying they’re selling the trendy Dubai chewy cookies. 🍪🍪🍩
The first thing you see when you walk in is the cake display case. The cakes look delicious and they’re super cute, too—though I did think the prices were a bit on the pricey side. There are also adorable candle accessories to go with the cakes. 🍰🍰🍯
Maybe because the café’s symbol is a ribbon and the whole concept is “cute,” the main display was full of ribbon‑shaped pastries in different flavors—and there were bear‑shaped breads too. They even had pastries in that trendy Dubai chocolate style.
We found the Dubai chewy cookies they mentioned at the entrance, and we grabbed one of those plus a ribbon‑shaped pie with coffees, then headed up to the second floor. Oh, and just a heads‑up: they require one drink per person.🍵🍵🍵
The second floor is decorated like an old European mansion, with the tables arranged to match that vibe. We grabbed a spot where you can look down at the floor below.
Head up to the third floor and you’ll find the rooftop—that’s the signature spot here. There’s the ribbon decoration, and photos come out really cute. It was freezing today, so the outdoor seats were empty, but on nice days this place is super popular. 👄👄
We checked out the third floor and then came back down to the second to settle in. Kinda wild that the ribbon pie and the Dubai chewy cookie are the same price, right? Even though the Dubai cookie is super popular, at 8,800 KRW I wasn’t so sure. It tasted good, but it wasn’t that chewy—and it felt pricey. I’ve heard the details vary by café, but for my taste, the one I bought at the department store for cheaper was actually better.
The coffee was just okay, but the vibe and the pretty space were the real draw, so my sibling and I had a great time chatting. If you want to soak up the atmosphere and snap some cute photos, it’s definitely worth dropping by at least once. 😘😘😘
