House of Shinsegae is actually connected to the Sweets Park on the B1 floor of Shinsegae Department Store's Gangnam branch — so getting there is super easy (and dangerously tempting, because hello, desserts everywhere 🍰).

It's also linked directly to the JW Marriott Hotel right next door, which honestly explains the whole vibe of the walkway. As you make your way in, it genuinely feels less like you're heading into a shopping space and more like you're strolling through a fancy hotel lobby ✨ — polished floors, soft lighting, that quiet "I've arrived somewhere special" kind of atmosphere. 🏨💫

 

 As you step inside, the mood instantly shifts — the lighting turns soft and moody, giving the whole place a cozy, speakeasy-like atmosphere 🌙✨. There's a chic little bar tucked under the dim lights, perfect for sipping on something fancy, and plenty of comfy seating areas where people are happily digging into their food, chatting away, and just soaking in the vibes. 🍸🍽️

 The two of us went all in and ordered the Nakji Bapsang (octopus set meal) and a Haemul Pajeon (seafood scallion pancake) to share — because when in doubt, order more, right? 😆🐙🥞

Prices sit somewhere between 27,000 and 35,000 KRW, which feels really reasonable considering how generous and thoughtfully plated everything is. 💛
